About:  Buttercup is a 15-week-old kitten with a sweet personality that’s worth waiting for! Born into a feral colony, she came into VTNR after the colony caretaker became ill. Though she started out as a spicy little kitten, Buttercup has blossomed into a bubbly, affectionate girl thanks to lots of love and patience in her foster home. She may be shy at first, but once she trusts you, she’s a nonstop purr machine who loves to snuggle. Buttercup greets her favorite people with “excited stompies” and makes the cutest sir biscuits when she’s happy. She also loves racing through her tunnel, curling up in her soft bed, and playing with other cats. Buttercup would thrive in a patient home that gives her time to settle in, and would love a feline friend to keep her company. She has no experience with dogs or children. If you are looking for a gentle, loving kitten whose personality blossoms with trust, Buttercup is ready to steal your heart.   "Caturday" Adoption Events: Visit our adoptable cats & kittens on Saturdays 10:00 am-3:00 pm at Victoria Petsmart. Meet, interview, apply, and adopt.   Adoption Fee: Our adoption fee helps to cover the costs of: monthly flea prevention, deworming treatment, FVRCP and rabies vaccines, and spay/neuter surgery for each cat or kitten. Microchips are available for an additional fee at the time of adoption. We offer reduced adoption fees when adopting a pair together.
