Hi! My name is Tesora or as my foster family calls me, "Sori"! I am a ball of joy in a tiny package! I'm about 4-5 years old and had a rough start prior to rescue. I had a hip injury that required me to have major hip surgery (FHO) but after approximately 10 months in my foster home, I have successfully healed and am ready for my forever home! I'm house trained, crate trained, wonderful on leash, do great on public outings with the family, love daily walks, love to cuddle, enjoy sunbathing, able to roam the home freely when the humans are away, and am basically perfect! I am not destructive but if given the chance I will sneak a house shoe and run off with it or eat the leftover food from the resident dog. I am very treat/food motivated and can hear a wrapper opening from the other room and will come running! I live with an 8 year old pit/boxer mix and we do well together! On a walk I also met a doodle that was much bigger than me so I was cautious but did well. I do not resource guard toys, bedding, or food. I live with 3 teens and love when they show me affection and if given the opportunity, will lay in the lap of any human! I have had exposure to kids as young as 4 years old and am patient, gentle, and unbothered when they pet me! If they stop petting me, I just follow them politely requesting more attention. I once made friends with an opossum in the yard but will chase bunnies and lizards. I have not had exposure to cats so it is unsure if I am feline friendly.
