Description
Pimento may have a mild pepper name, but she is anything but mild. She’s a tiny girl with a whole lot of sass, and she isn’t shy about sharing every opinion she has. She carries herself like she’s twice her size and prefers to play with the big cats, convinced she fits right in with the heavyweights.Despite her bold attitude, Pimento has a sweet, affectionate side. After she’s done roughhousing with the big girls, she’ll happily curl up for cuddles and soak up attention. She loves her food and will absolutely remind you when it’s mealtime. If you’re slow to serve, she has no problem trying to help herself to whatever you’re eating. Her history is unknown, and she’s still learning how to be a social cat. When she first arrived, she didn’t want any other cats near her and made her boundaries very clear. Over time, she’s learned that humans are a wonderful source of love and comfort, and she’s opening up more every day.Pimento is the perfect mix of spicy and sweet — a bold little personality who will keep you entertained, keep you on schedule, and curl up with you once she’s done ruling the room. Meet Our Fabulous Foster-to-Adopt Kittens! Tiny paws, big personalities, and endless purrs await you!Our friendly, playful young kittens are currently available on a foster-to-adopt basis—meaning you get to welcome them into your home now, with adoption finalized after their spay/neuter surgery. It’s the purr-fect way to start your happily ever after early! But wait—there’s more to love! Our rescue requires that kittens be adopted in pairs (at a special discounted adoption fee!) or into a home that already has a young, friendly cat. Why? Because Single Kitten Syndrome is real! When kittens grow up alone, they can develop behavioral issues like biting, excessive vocalizing, or difficulty learning boundaries. Having a feline buddy helps them learn how to “cat” properly—and gives you double the cuddles, double the fun, and half the zoomies at 3 a.m. So if you’re ready to double your joy, adopt a dynamic duo, or introduce one of these cuties to your resident feline, let us know! Your new best friends are waiting to pounce into your heart. Apply today and let the kitten chaos begin—in the best way possible!Just a quick note—she's currently in foster care, not at the shelter, so she won't be available for walk-in visits. If you'd like to meet her, we'll need to schedule a meet and greet in advance. Let us know what days work best for you, and we’ll be happy to coordinate! If you are interested in adopting this pet, please go to www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt to complete an application. Completing a questionnaire on any other website does not submit an application to our rescue, you must complete one on our website.
