Cayenne

Description

Cayenne was seen dragging himself out of the road in front of a bank. By the time the person got turned around, they could not find him. They contacted us and we sent our volunteers down. Thankfully they found him hiding in the flowerbed. We got him right into the vet, where he got an X-Ray. They found he has a broken pelvis. He is now on cage rest in a foster home to hopefully mend. A note on our kitten policy: We require that kittens this age go to a home with at least one other friendly cat, or be adopted alongside a sibling. Solo kittens can develop behavioral issues — aggression, destructiveness, general mayhem — without a feline companion to burn off energy with and learn from.
