Description

Meet Radar! Radar is a handsome, happy-go-lucky boy who is currently in a NJ foster home. He came to us from North Carolina after being found as a stray, and he's been winning hearts ever since. Radar weighs about 72 pounds and is the perfect mix of playful adventure buddy and couch companion. He loves getting his energy out with a good round of zoomies, water play, and outdoor fun, then happily settles down to relax with his people afterward. This smart boy is crate trained, house trained, knows basic commands, and enjoys car rides. He does well walking on a harness and leash and loves joining his foster family on outings. Radar is friendly, affectionate, and always appreciates a tasty treat. Radar gets along very well with dogs his size and with cats when introductions are done slowly and properly. He is not a fan of small dogs, so a home without little canine companions would be best. Radar enjoys meeting new people and has a sweet, loving personality that makes him a joy to be around. He's looking for an active family that will give him the exercise, companionship, and love he deserves. Radar is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines. He tested negative for heartworm. His adoption fee is $500. - Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these animal have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
