Hi, I’m Macie, and I’m a senior girl who spent almost my whole life in one loving home. Losing that familiar world and finding myself in a shelter has been… a lot. I’m trying my best, but big changes are hard when you’ve been settled for so long. I want attention — I really do — but at first I’m a little unsure. A soft voice, a calm presence, someone who doesn’t rush me… that’s when I start to breathe easier. Give me a moment to realize I’m safe, and you’ll see the real me peek out. And once I trust you? Oh boy. I become the affectionate, outgoing, full‑on lap cat I’ve always been. I’ll curl up with you for movie nights, lean into your hands for pets, and soak up every bit of love you offer. I’m loyal, gentle, and so ready to bond with someone who understands that senior hearts are tender but incredibly devoted.
