Meow meet Tippy! Tippy is the kind of cat who quietly works her way into your heart and stays there forever. This beautiful 5 year old grey and white girl has such a gentle, loving soul - the kind that shines through every soft nuzzle, every content little lean into your hand, and every moment she curls up safely in her beloved Winnie the Pooh cat bed. Sadly, Tippys world was turned upside down when her owner could no longer keep her and surrendered her to a local veterinary office who then contacted the rescue. Through all the change and uncertainty, Tippy has remained incredibly sweet, affectionate, and trusting. She simply wants to love and be loved in return. Tippy is diabetic, but not insulin dependent. Her diabetes is managed with a once a day chewable tablet called Bexacat, along with prescription food and an automatic feeder that carefully dispenses the proper amount of food at the right time to keep her healthy and stable. She cannot have wet food and because her diet and feeding schedule are so important to maintaining her health, Tippy would need to be the only pet in the home to ensure she never has access to other animals food. She is an incredibly tidy little lady who adores pets, attention, and being close to her people. The smallest acts of love seem to mean everything to her. There’s something especially heartbreaking about seeing such a kind, easygoing cat lose the only home she knew - yet Tippy still greats each day with softness, trust,  and hope. The rescue will gladly answer any questions and make sure her future family feels comfortable and prepared to give her the care she needs. Tippy’s routine is manageable, and in return, you’ll gain a deeply loving companion who asks for very little besides kindness, comfort, and someone who won’t give her up again. More than anything, Tippy deserves someone who will look at her not as a medical condition or a responsibility, but as the deeply loving soul she is - a little cat who has already lost her home once and is still waiting, with hopeful eyes and a gentle heart, for someone to finally choose her forever.
