He’s not the type to demand attention or insist on being the center of everything, but he truly enjoys spending time near his people, soaking up gentle pets and head scratches. He has a quiet, comforting presence that makes him a wonderful companion. Don’t let his laid-back demeanor fool you, though. Crochet has a playful side too and enjoys batting around toys and pouncing when the mood strikes. Watching him switch from relaxed cuddle buddy to playful hunter is sure to bring a smile to your face. When Crochet arrived at the shelter, he had an old injury to one of his hind legs that ultimately required amputation. Now he's a proud tripod boy, and he doesn't let being down a leg slow him down one bit. He eats, uses the litter box, plays, explores, and loves just like any other cat. In fact, he's even starting to get the hang of jumping again as he adapts to life on three legs.
