Description

Looking for a permanent addition to your lap? Rigby is cuddly, snuggly, and most importantly, fat. This magnificent butterball of love believes personal space is a myth. Whether you’re working at your computer, lying in bed, making breakfast, or attempting to accomplish literally anything without a cat attached to you, Rigby will be there — supervising, leaning, snuggling, and offering his full emotional and physical weight.Rigby is the kind of cat who makes a house feel lived-in and loved. He has a calm, affectionate presence and the soft, squishy charm of a cat who knows exactly how adorable he is. His ideal home is one where laps are plentiful, people appreciate a devoted shadow, and nobody minds being gently held hostage by a large, warm tabby. If you’ve been dreaming of a loyal couch companion, professional snuggle assistant, and certified chunky sweetheart, Rigby is ready to move in and claim your lap forever.A note on his personality. He was very grouchy with other kitties. We don't know if he was just stressed out or if he really needs to be a single boy. We suggest adopting him as either an only cat or only if you're up for the challenge of making sure he gets along with your other fur babies. DOB 06/2024 foster: erst  Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $350 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes.  These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $225 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes.  These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $225 for kittens (6 months & under)    $150 for cats (older than 6 months)    $100 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application  here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process!
