TOBBY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:  Tobby         Best Guess for Breed:  Chihuahua and terrier mix   Best Guess for Age:  3.5 years as of May 2026          SEX:  Male   Approximate Weight:  24 lbs   Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at: DC area foster home   Special adoption considerations:   Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think this pup would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure they can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.   Tobby is Looking For:  Tobby is a sato - a dog from Puerto Rico. He's eager to get his own forever family in the DC area and explore his new surroundings. Long sniffy walks, romps in parks, all the adventures his new humans can dream up - yes, please! Making pup pals along the way is high on his wish list, as are quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. But you know what he wants most of all? To be safe and loved, to know where he belongs. In exchange he promises all the adoring gazes he is storing up and loyal companionship for all his days.    What do you say? Is Tobby the one you see by your side? What My Foster Says About Me:   We will update this once he has spent time in foster care. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
