Description
A very sweet and goofy boy is our Catmandu (Cat for short). Found living in a ditch as a wee puppy, he was initially extremely shy and withdrawn, and we weren't sure of his personality. After two months of living in the 'burbs, though, he has blossomed into being his own unique little doggo, greatly helped by his foster dog companions. Even now in late puppyhood he's no more than 35 pounds, long-legged and thin with adorable semi floppy ears, so we don't think he will get too much bigger. Cat has so far been extremely submissive to other dogs with whom he has lived or stayed, from tiny, grumpy old lady dogs to bossy 60 pound hound girls. He takes cues on feeding and playing from his companions, maintaining boundaries and respecting toy and treat ownership (even if complaining loudly about the injustice of it all, lol!). We think that he would be a wonderful dog for your playful dog. Luckily for us, Cat is also very curious and has bonded with us humans, and house- and leash training has been relatively easy. Along with his canine siblings, he has free rein in the house at night and during the day, even when the humans are gone. He hasn't shown much interest in doggie pools and fountains so far, but he has loads of energy and would make an excellent walking/jogging/hiking companion. This cute little character will constantly entertain you, I promise <3 If you have any questions about Cat or would like to meet him, feel free to reach out to foster mom Kristi at 281.797.6280, and thank you for wanting to add a rescue baby to your family!
