Max

Description

Small in size but big on love, Max is a 7-year-old, 13-pound Chihuahua mix who’s ready to find his forever home! This sweet, social guy loves people and is happiest when he’s cuddling, being held, or soaking up affection. He’s house-trained, knows “sit” and “come here,” walks nicely on leash (with plenty of sniff breaks!), and has successfully lived with both big and small dogs. Max is mostly blind, but he navigates his foster home beautifully and adapts quickly to new surroundings. He’ll thrive with a predictable routine and a loving family. He’s also comfortable spending a few hours alone and sleeping in his crate overnight. Max has diabetes that’s well managed with twice-daily insulin injections. He does best when injections are given quickly while he’s eating, and his caregivers should be comfortable following his medical routine and handling needs. If you’re looking for a devoted little companion with a big heart and lots of cuddles to give, Max might just be your match! Click here to learn how to adopt and submit your adoption questionnaire.
