Tyr is looking for a home with an experienced German Shepherd or working breed owner who understands the needs of intelligent, driven dogs. He is not the right fit for a first-time dog owner. Tyr thrives when he has a job to do. He needs an active lifestyle filled with exercise, structure, training, and plenty of mental stimulation. Whether it's long walks, hikes, advanced training, scent work, or interactive play, Tyr is happiest when he's kept busy and engaged. He is absolutely not a couch potato and won't be content lounging around all day. While he's full of drive and energy, Tyr is also incredibly loving and forms strong bonds with his people. With the right home committed to meeting his physical and mental needs, Tyr will make an incredibly loyal and rewarding companion.
