Description
Meet Miranda Priestley. Don’t let the first week fool you. The first few days, you’ll basically be playing the most stressful game of hide and seek of your life. She’s incredibly good at finding spots you didn’t even know existed, and there will be moments where you’re convinced she’s vanished into thin air. She hasn’t. She’s just found a new hiding spot and is watching you panic from somewhere you’ll never guess. But once she gets over that hump, a whole personality comes out. Playful, sassy, affectionate, and ready to make her presence known. And honestly, her profile alone could end careers. She’s giving face, she’s giving neck, she’s giving purr, she’s giving it all. That statuesque neck, those deep golden amber eyes that look right into you, a coat so soft it’s borderline chinchilla. I’m still convinced there’s some mink in there somewhere. She’s also just an easy, sweet cat once she warms up. Eats well, uses the litter box like a pro, and lets you handle her without any fuss. She’ll roll over and expose her belly, curl up into a little ball on your lap, and purr away while giving you this look like she’s judging you, but really she’s just decided you’re worthy of her time. She and Lara Jean get along great so she may be good in a home with another cat or along with Lara Jean. They eat together, play together, chase each other around the house and then collapse into a break like they planned it. Lara Jean is clearly the one running the show, and Miranda doesn’t mind one bit, if anything she seems to like having someone else lead. Watching them together honestly tells you everything about how good Miranda will be once she settles into a home.Second week update: Woke with her sleeping on my chest, 180 from last week. When she notices you are awake she wants her morning pets she head butts you and purrs until she gets those pets. She is a little mouthy but it's very gentle but I'm still working on changing that behavior. Also she doesn't seem to enjoy cat wands at least the one I have, maybe week 3? Six week update: ok she is fully out of her shell. She is sleeping next to me and cuddles and love her morning and evening pets. I also discovered she looooves cat tv. She is mesmerized and really into it. I would leave it on for her when leaving to comfort her in the future. Also I know I mentioned this before but she is so soft! I could pet her forever, and she is statuesque even for a cat! All cats/kittens will be spayed/neutered unless spay/neuter contract is signed with additional deposit. For more photos and videos please see our website www.hdbnqrescue.org/queens youtube page: https://www.youtube.com/@HDBnQRescue
