TRIXIE (COURTESY POST)

Description

Trixie is 5yo, weighs 40lbs, is spayed, is up to date on her vaccinations, andn is microchipped.  Trixie is left alone in the home 8 hours per day and sleeps in her guardian's bed at night.  She dislikes/fears skateboards, bikes and things on wheels.  She's loves car rides, as she lies down and sleeps. Trixie's guardian explains why he has made the difficult decision to rehome her:  "Unable to financially afford and no longer have a dog-friendly home." Trixie's guardian offers a brief a medical history:  "Removed left canine tooth; she broke it on a toy." Trixie's guardian states the following regarding children:  Since Trixie hasn't lived with children, her guardian doesn't recommend her living with children, stating "She shies away.  She has never attacked or growled or anything.  She may be okay with them if given the opportunity to get used to them". Trixie's guardian states the following regarding dogs:  Since Trixie has lived with a dog, her guardian recommends her living with dogs, stating "She loves other dogs except for submissive females.  She tends to herd them aggressively". Trixie's guardian states the following regarding cats:  Since Trixie hasn't lived with cats, her guardian doesn't recommend her living with cats, stating "She visited with cats, and she obsesses over them.  She has never been aggressive though".
