 IN NEED OF LOCAL FOSTER OR ADOPTER / AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER TO ADOPT  Meet Esme! More pictures and video below or to come!  Esme is approx. 5 years old (approx. DOB 3-27-21), female, 46 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed. Esme assessed well with other dogs, may be good with cats (all cat & dog relationships are different), and is as sweet as pie. She ended up at the shelter after being a homeless, abandoned stray, and being hit by a car. X-rays did not show any breaks, but she experienced some nerve damage in her front leg that has been getting progressively better. Esme is very sweet and nice, sleeps a lot, and has lower energy. She likes to sit on your lap if allowed   . She gives lots of gentle kisses, is house-trained, and prefers her meals served with peanut butter or eggs! Esme likes to sit with humans and get pets, likes to be in your arms if you’re near her level. Stay tuned for more information as Esme is a new rescue!
