Text Enid to 864-441-9075 for my full story and photos - we'll send everything you need to know! Here's Your Quick Peek: Enid’s story began on the side of a Spartanburg SC road, frightened, painfully matted, and starving. A kind traveler visiting from Canada spotted her, gently coaxed her into safety, and gave her a warm hotel room and a full belly for the very first time in what may have been far too long. Please note - if you want to skip the text and go straight to the application, you can find the link here: www.carolinapoodlerescue.org/application/ Must have: Exercise: Of course - she is retriever on all sides of her heritage, she loves a hike, loves to be active and loves adventure Best with: An active home that takes their dog everywhere Not ideal for: Sedate or low energy homes Energy level: Comfortable and high. She knows how to settle but loves to romp, too. Today, Enid is beginning her beautiful transformation. Beneath the neglect was a playful, affectionate, goofy girl who LOVES people, enjoys other dogs, and is discovering what it means to feel safe again. In just days she gained weight, found her sparkle, and started showing us the happy, loving dog she was always meant to be. Enid is our “Ugly Duckling” girl—and we think she’s becoming absolutely stunning. ❤️ Good with dogs: Yes and she would love a buddy to romp and play with. It's not required but if she is an only dog, play dates and doggie day care is a good idea to let her run with her own kind for a while. Good with kids: Not tested - as happy as she is we think she will be great Cats: Not tested - we can do this Fun fact: Enid is what we call an “instant lover.” Just add affection and watch her bloom.
