Name:   Mauve        Best Guess for Breed:   Hound mix  Best Guess for Age:   1.5 years as of May 2026         SEX:    Female   Approximate Weight:   39 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   South Carolina shelter - Mauve needs a foster or adopter to make her way to the DC area   Mauve is Looking For:    Meet Mauve, a beautiful hound mix with a striking tricolor coat and an equally bright personality! This happy girl loves being around people and approaches the world with a friendly, confident spirit. Whether she’s heading out for a stroll or relaxing after an adventure, Mauve is ready to be your loyal sidekick. Mauve walks confidently on leash and enjoys getting out to explore her surroundings. She has the kind of easygoing, cheerful personality that makes her a joy to spend time with, and her expressive hound face is sure to win hearts wherever she goes.
