Description
Meet Bentley, a handsome 9-month-old Shepherd mix with a heart as big as his smile, who is ready to find his forever family. Rescued from a difficult living situation along with several other dogs, Bentley has shown nothing but resilience, sweetness, and love ever since. At 28 lbs. but expected to fill out a bit more as he reaches maturity, Bentley is the perfect medium-sized companion (anywhere up to 60- pounds). He will be small enough to snuggle close on the couch, yet big enough to join you on all sorts of adventures. With his sleek brown coat and soulful eyes, Bentley is sure to turn heads wherever he goes.Bentley has a wonderful medium energy level that makes him an easy fit for many different families. He loves fun activities like fetch, tug of war, and neighborhood strolls, but he is just as content relaxing beside the people he loves after a day of play. He gets along great with kids and other dogs, although his history with cats is unknown. Bentley will make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a loyal and playful companion. Like many young pups, Bentley is still learning the ropes and will need a family willing to continue working on leash walking, house training, and crate training. With patience, consistency, and love, this smart boy is sure to blossom into an incredible lifelong companion. He dreams of a home where he can enjoy walks around the neighborhood, trips to the park, backyard games with his family, and cozy evenings curled up nearby on his dog bed or next to his favorite humans.Bentley has already overcome so much in his young life, and now he is simply hoping for someone who will love him forever and never let him go. If you are looking for a loyal best friend with a playful spirit and a loving heart, Bentley may just be the perfect match for you. Could you be the one to give this sweet boy the storybook ending he deserves?* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine.
