Katie might be 8 but she is still a baby! And by that we mean she wants to be held close like a newborn as often as possible. Bedtime? She is curling up on your chest or in your arms. Katie prefers to sleep in her human's bed with them, so closed bedroom doors t night won't work for this gal. While Katie is a certified lap cat she doesn't want a ton of repetitive petting over and over, that makes her feel a bit weird and she'll let you know if you've overdone it. She will greet you at the door when you come home and will listen while you tell her how your day went. Katie is a curious, confident cat who will readily interact with people. When she's ready to play, she will let you know. She has a general schedule of wanting play time in the morning and later in the evening but she can also play on her own with interactive toys.  She enjoys a chilled out home with minimal loud noise or disruptions. A bonus is if you let her hang out in the bathroom during shower time, she finds that mysterious waterfall endlessly fascinating! Katie was around her prior owner's dog and would do well with a cat-savvy dog buddy. We are not certain but we don't think Katie wants kitty friends, so being an only cat in the home is a good fit. Her eyes might be a little different but don't let that distract you from her huge heart, crafty brain and sweet snuggles!  Katie is being cared for in one of our foster homes.
