Merry is A Sweet Young Pup Learning Life Outside The Puppy Mill.  Merry was born in a puppy mill with a bleak future ahead as a puppy mom.  One one had, she won the lotto when the breeder no longer had use for her however on the other hand, it also  could have ended badly for her .We were able to secure her safe passage out and she joined our rescue and now has a promising future ahead.  Merry is a Poodle Bichon gal with a happy disposition.  Coming from a mill she does not have the exposure to every day things and skill set another puppy does.  She is a bit timid and needs to learn about  sounds like sirens,, traffic, riding in a car, etc..  She needs a home to take the time and patience to slowly introduce her to everyday life,  She needs to learn bathroom skills as well.  All puppies love to chew so puppy proofing your home is something to plan on. Merry would benefit in a home with another gentle dog to show her the ropes and help her burn off some of  her puppy play energy.  She MUST have a secure  fenced in yard for her potty place to keep her safe from being a flight hazard,  We highly recommend puppy training classes to help create stronger bonds and establish a clear channel of communication with each other,  Training also helps you bounce off daily situations with a trainer in real time for support, Merry is fully vetted, She has been spayed, received age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, Subsequent vaccines are at the expense of her adopter, Her adoption donation is $1200.00. She is on the hunt for her own completely committed family, Little Dogs can live to be 20+ years old so she wants to be sure her family is all in for better or for worse!     IF INTERESTED IN A PUPPY (UNDER 12 MONTHS): YOU MUST HAVE A FLEXIBLE WORK SCHEDULE OR SOMEONE HOME ALL DAY. PUPPIES NEED TO BE LET OUT TO POTTY EVERY COUPLE OF HOURS APART, THEY NEED SOCIALIZATION AND BONDING AND NEED TRAINING (HOUSETRAINING AND BEHAVIORAL TRAINING). IF YOU WORK LONG HOURS, HAVE A BUSY SOCIAL SCHEDULE OR NOT FINANCIALLY SECURE THEN A PUPPY IS NOT FOR YOU.  We adopt in the local Chicago metro area.
