This dog is available to meet by appointment only. Blanket is a 3-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier weighing 72 pounds with a gentle soul and a sweet, sensitive nature. Shelter life has been overwhelming for him, but he was able to relax in his temporary foster home. Quietly social: Blanket enjoys being wherever his people are. While he may occasionally step away if approached too directly, he always comes back immediately to sit nearby, showing that he loves companionship as he builds confidence. Wonderful with respectful people: Though he appears to prefer a quiet home, Blanket really enjoyed the company of dog-savvy teenagers in his foster home, hanging around wherever the action is. Dog-social: Blanket is also social with other dogs. He happily walks alongside canine companions and appears much more comfortable exploring the world with a dog friend by his side.
