Born: February 03, 2026 Mushu has suspected hydrocephalus, a neurological condition that may affect how he experiences the world—but that is only a small part of who he is. What truly defines Mushu is his sweet spirit, his gentle heart, and the quiet joy he brings to every moment. This special little boy is happy, loving, and content simply being near his people. Mushu experiences life a bit differently than other puppies. He doesn’t engage in typical play, but he finds comfort in following and staying close. Because of this, we believe he would do best with a calm, mature companion dog—one who doesn’t need constant play but can offer a steady, reassuring presence. Mushu will need a patient, understanding family willing to support him as he navigates daily life in his own unique way. In return, he will give a kind of love that is pure, peaceful, and deeply special. I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $700 All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals or how large puppies will be when fully grown. We look forward to seeing you soon!
