Sadie #13 | 3-month-old Staffy mix | Curious little cuddlebug Sadie is a 3-month-old Staffy mix with adorable brown spots, a playful personality, and the perfect mix of puppy chaos and snuggly sweetness. She may have started out as the shy sister, but once she settled in, her curious, goofy personality quickly came shining through. Like most puppies her age, Sadie is still working on potty training and learning the routines of living in a home. She does very well when taken outside regularly, but she is not yet consistently signaling when she needs to go out. As with any puppy adjusting to a new environment, adopters should expect there may be accidents while she settles in and learns a new routine. Sadie loves toys, chewing bones, fetch, tug-of-war, and pouncing on other dogs to convince them to play. She is very food motivated, enjoys healthy treats and raw veggies, and is already starting to figure out “sit.” After a good play session, she happily crashes into cuddle mode and makes a great little snuggle buddy. She gets along well with other dogs but is still learning boundaries and appropriate puppy manners. Like many puppies, she can be jumpy, mouthy, and persistent when trying to play. She would thrive in a puppy-proofed home with adopters committed to training, structure, socialization, and helping her continue learning how to navigate the world. Sadie is doing fairly well with leash walking for her age and tends to gain confidence following another dog on walks. Crate training is still a bit of a work in progress, but she settles much more easily once she is tired. Sadie and her siblings spent the beginning of their lives living outdoors after their owner passed away, but despite that rough start, she has blossomed into a playful, affectionate, and lovable little pup ready to find her forever family. If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $475 (includes a $50 refundable puppy training deposit). Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.
