Sport is a special boy who is looking for a new home. He is currently with one of our sister rescues in Louisiana but hoping to come to NJ soon with an approved foster or adopter. Meet Sport – proof that age is just a number. At 10 years young, Sport is an older gentleman who didn’t get the memo about slowing down. He’s still full of life, personality, and just the right amount of Pomeranian sass. He’ll happily let you know when something’s going on (yes, he’s got that classic Pom bark), but overall he’s a pretty easygoing guy who just wants a cozy home and someone to love. Sport would be a great fit for someone who isn’t looking for a high-energy dog but still wants a companion with a little spark. He enjoys attention, gets excited in the cutest way, and is perfectly content just being near his people. He recently had a dental, so his smile is fresh and ready for his next chapter. Now all he needs is a soft place to land and a family to call his own. If you’re looking for a loyal little sidekick with personality and charm, Sport might just be your guy. His adoption donation is $300.  Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption.
