PRIM NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!     Name:  Prim        Best Guess for Breed: Terrier and lab mix     Best Guess for Age:   2 years as of October 2025        SEX:   Female   Approximate Weight: 41 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  DC area home   Prim is Looking For: Prim did an amazing job raising her little one, Petey, who’s now ready for his own family. Now it’s Prim’s turn to find her humans! She’s a young, playful girl who can’t wait for sniffy walks, park adventures, and all the fun her new family can dream up.  Her sweet  personality has made her a volunteer favorite, and she has so much love and loyalty to give!   What My Foster Says About Me: This sweet girl is all about snacks, play, and love, okay, maybe snacks first! She adores playing with people, other dogs, and entertaining herself like the independent queen she is. Fetch? Absolutely. Tug? Let’s go. Chase games with dog friends? She’s all in! When playtime winds down, she loves flopping over for belly rubs and soaking up affection. Around the house, she’s a true velcro girl—always close to her people, following you from room to room just to be near you. She’s extremely food-motivated, which makes bonding and training  a lot of fun. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate girl who’s ready to become your best friend, cuddle buddy, and loyal shadow, Prim is ready to steal your heart! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
