Description

DOB:  December 22, 2019 Momie is a talkative, curious guy waiting to find someone to spend lots of time with him! While he likely spent most of his life outside as a stray, he is now happily adapted to indoor living and loves to explore his new domestic surroundings, discovering every nook and cranny. Momie has lots of opinions and he wants to share them with you at all times. Mainly he requests treats or playtime with the water faucet (he loves to watch the water go down the drain). When he sees someone, he likes to greet them with a loving bonk of his head -- he’s always willing to meet a new friend. His other favorite activities include having the zoomies and laying on his back while kneading the air. He has big cheeks, a big purr, and an even bigger heart.   Momie is currently in a foster home with his rescuer.  Arrangements can be made for a meeting once you have applied with us. All cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process.  Momie is FIV+  Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive cats can live normal lives both in quality and duration. They do take special care in terms of monitoring them for signs of infection.  FIV can be passed from cat to cat via deep bite wounds, but not from casual contact so positive cats can live with negative cats without the fear of spreading FIV as long as they get along and are spayed/neutered. For more information about FIV – feline immunodeficiency virus visit this website: https://bestfriends.org/resources/fiv-cats-faqs-feline-immunodeficiency-virus Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.**
