Bear here! I'm a 3-year-old 15 pounds Terrier mix who loves dogs and gets along well with cats. I’m still coming out of my shell, so I need my pack to help me build confidence. When I first came into rescue, I was scared and reactive to the men around me. My foster family worked with me & when I was comfortable with them, that's when they realized I had a broken k9. My dental appt was set & then the news came that it wasn't just 1 tooth fractured but 13! All the teeth between both sets of my k9s were all fractured and pulled. I'm on the mend now & my family's hoping my pain was causing discomfort & making me be more reactive because I felt I needed to protect myself. I prefer calm, older kids and take my time to warm up to new people and places. I'm kennel trained and I also don't mind it at night but would prefer to snuggle with my humans. I'm house trained on a schedule. I really enjoy car rides & kennel up nice there too. I love going on new adventures on leash and exploring the world around me. With a little patience and gentle introductions, I know I can become a confident, happy member of my new family.  Hoping to be your furever companion  ~Bear~     Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Dental, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
