06/03/26 13:01Meet The Boss, a young intact male rabbit who came to us as an owner surrender after being housed in inappropriate conditions with other intact males. At intake, he was underweight and in poor body condition, with a dirty, urine-soaked coat and evidence of prior scabbing and healed wounds consistent with resource-guarding and social conflict. Despite this difficult start, The Boss has shown resilience and is currently bright, alert, and eating well, with normal fecal output noted in his kennel.He is now beginning to recover with consistent care and monitoring, though he will benefit from continued weight gain, gentle handling, and a clean, stable environment to fully heal both physically and behaviorally from his prior living situation. The Boss is looking for a rescue or experienced adopter who can provide appropriate rabbit care, continued nutritional support, and a calm setup where he can safely decompress and continue to improve.
