Remy has lived with my mother for his whole life. He is around 12 years old. He is neutered and vaccinated. He meows when he wants to go outside, where there were woods for him to go to the bathroom and then he meows when he wants back inside. He prefers people to other cats, he lived with a female cat for a year or two but they didn't much like each other.
