SCOOBY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!     Name:  Scooby       Best Guess for Breed:   Lab/Retriever mix Best Guess for Age:  9 months as of August 2026         SEX:   Male   Approximate Weight:  38 lbs as of 8/2/26 - is still growing!   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   DC area foster home   Scooby is Looking For:  His forever home! This cutie is eagerly looking forward to having his own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so he can show how super smart he is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And he'll want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, he wants to know he's safe and loved. In exchange he promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags he's storing up, and loyal companionship for all his days. What do you say? Is Scooby the one you see by your side?What My Foster Says About Me:  Scooby comes with me to the office and is friends with everyone. He is very mellow for a puppy, calm on the leash, and communicative when he needs to go potty. He is responsive to other dogs' cues when they no longer want to play, and has had an amazing time playing at the dog park with small dogs and big dogs alike. He also sleeps through the night and is very good in his crate (he puts himself in there when he is sleepy). He loves sun naps and car rides, and is very gentle when taking treats!Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this puppy is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
