Name:  Jayla        Best Guess for Breed:   Retriever and terrier mix mix Best Guess for Age:  6 months as of May 2026         SEX:   Female   Approximate Weight:  27 lbs as of 5/19/26 - is still growing!   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   DC area foster home   Jayla is Looking For:  Her forever home! Jayla and her sisters Jaylin and Jodie had fun growing up together but they're ready to split up and get their own homes. This sweetie is eagerly looking forward to having her own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so she can show how super smart she is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And she'll want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, she wants to know she's safe and loved. In exchange she promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags she's storing up, and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Is Jayla the one you see by your side?What My Foster Says About Me: Jayla is a sweet, friendly 6-month-old puppy with endless enthusiasm for life. She loves to run, play, and carry toys everywhere she goes. Though many experiences are still new to her, she approaches them with curiosity and quickly gains confidence. She gets along well with people and other dogs, rides nicely in the car, sleeps through the night in her crate, and is making steady progress with potty training. Like any young puppy, she’s still learning to be comfortable alone, but she’s food-motivated, eager to learn, and full of potential. Jayla is a wonderful pup who just needs the love, consistency, and training every puppy deserves.     Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this puppy is $485, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
