Meet Hoffbrau, a 2-year-old, 64-pound Doberman Pinscher! Whether he’s soaking up belly rubs, snuggling by your side, or joining you for a stroll around the neighborhood, Hoffbrau is happiest when he’s spending time with his people. Hoffbrau is house-trained, crate-trained, and has excellent manners in the home. He’s also incredibly smart and loves learning new things—especially when treats are involved! In foster care, he quickly overcame his fear of elevators with positive reinforcement and now hops on like a pro. His love of food and praise makes him a fun and rewarding training partner. This curious boy enjoys exploring the world on walks, checking out new sights, and watching people and dogs pass by. He loves puzzle toys, slow feeders, chew treats, and any activity that gives his brain a workout. Despite his size, Hoffbrau has a wonderfully gentle way of taking treats and interacting with those he trusts. Hoffbrau is looking for a patient, loving home that will continue helping him build confidence and celebrate his successes. He would do well with appropriately matched dogs or as a solo dog with dog friends outside the home.
