Sweet Chia is a 4-year-old Belgian Shepherd Malinois mix weighing 59 pounds. Since arriving at OAS, she has been turning over a new leaf—slowly learning how to trust again, make new friends, and adapt to a new environment. This sensitive Belgian Malinois is looking for breed-experienced adopters who can provide the time, patience, and structure she needs to decompress, bond, socialize safely, and explore the world at her own pace. Chia is treat-motivated, affectionate with her trusted handlers, and continues to blossom more each day. Chia would do best with appropriately matched dog companions or as a solo dog with dog friends outside the home.
