Koko is a striking, long and lean girl with beautiful green eyes, bold tabby stripes, and a graceful way of moving that makes her look like a tiny wild cat wandering through the jungle. But beneath that gorgeous exterior is a wonderfully unique personality. Koko loves having people around. She'll happily greet you with gentle head bumps, stretch out on the rug for pets and tummy rubs, and reward you with the sweetest purrs. After a few minutes, though, Koko may decide she's had enough affection and return to one of her favorite spots by the window. And that's perfectly Koko. She's not a clingy lap cat or a girl who needs constant attention. Instead, Koko is the kind of companion who simply enjoys sharing life with you. She may lounge on the bed while you relax, quietly keep you company from across the room, or wander over every so often to say hello and enjoy a few pets before heading off again. Basically, Koko is a really wonderful roommate.  Since coming to the shelter, Koko has adjusted beautifully to life in a free-roaming room with other cats. She seems comfortable with her feline roommates and has become quite the welcoming committee when humans stop by! Koko greets visitors affectionately, enjoys pets, and clearly appreciates the time and attention of the people who come to see her. Koko is independent, quiet, calm, and refreshingly low-maintenance—but that doesn't mean she doesn't want a home and a person of her own.
