MANDY (COURTESY POST)

Description

Mandy is 5.5yo, weighs 75lbs, is up to date on her vaccines, is not spayed, and is not microchipped.  Her guardian adds:  "She's shy but getting better with love.  Gives me her paw to shake.  All I do is pet her and she wags her tail and is eager to see me.  Good in car."  Mandy is currently tied outside during the day and is in a shed at night. Mandy's guardian explains why she is rehoming her:   Mandy's guardian rescued her from the Amish who were going to shoot her.  Her guardian cannot handle a large dog due to physical constraints.  Mandy's guardian states the following regarding children:  Mandy hasn't lived with or otherwise been around children since rescued, but her guardian recommends her living with children, stating "I can't say.  I've had her only 4 days and already she is less timid and shy.  I feel that if she is loved, she would be great with children".  Mandy's guardian states the following regarding dogs:  Mandy has lived with dogs so her guardian recommends her living with dogs, stating "I can't say for certain.  She was in a pen (puppy mill) with other dogs nearby.  She was let out and was fine around 2 other dogs". Mandy's guardian states the following regarding cats:  Mandy doesn't live with cats, so her guardian doesn't recommend her living with cats, stating "She lunges at my cats".
