Age : 3 years Size : 48 lbs Estimated breed : Pit bull/Staffordshire terrier mix Has lived with : Kids 12+ years, dog-savvy cats   Lilith was adopted in November 2023 as part of our "What We Do in the Shadows" litter. Unfortunately, her family returned her due to zero fault of her own. She is now searching for a true forever family!   Lilith, aka Maple, is 3 years old and weighs around 48 lbs. Per her siblings' DNA tests, she is likely a pit bull/staffordshire terrier mix. She has lived with dog-savvy cats and kids over 12 years old. Lilith’s original family never bothered to socialize her with other dogs when she was a puppy and in the critical socialization window, so she needs a home without other dogs. She is not reactive to seeing other dogs and has been living in a home boarding set-up for several months, where she sees other dogs daily, and does fine! She is not a candidate for living freely in the same space as another dog, so a home where she can be queen of the castle is what will make her happiest.   Lilith has spent the past few months in a home boarding environment with a trainer, who has nothing but amazing things to say about her! She is crate trained, walks well on leash, and knows all her basic obedience. She can be jumpy for attention when excited, so kids should be older and sturdy enough to handle her happy hops. Her trainer describes her as a typical pittie with medium to low energy. She has bursts of zoomies and loves playing in the yard and enrichment walks, but as long as she gets 30 minutes to an hour of enrichment she’s content to spend the rest of the day curled up and napping! Overall, she’s a great dog, very personable, and easy for anyone to fall head over heels in love with.   Lilith’s perfect home includes any kind of adult humans - male or female, she doesn’t discriminate! It has no other animals inside the home, but could have teen kids and above. Her perfect family will enjoy exercising with her and doing fun things with their dog - obedience training, sports, agility, etc!
