BADEM NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:  Badem        Best Guess for Breed:  Lab mix    Best Guess for Age: 1 year 3 months as of May 2026        SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight:  60 lbs   Gets Along With: Badem is good with other dogs and has lived with cats! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   DC area home   All about Badem: Badem was a stray dog in Turkey in September 2025 when she got lucky: Loving humans found her, got her care, and brought her to the USA so she would have a chance at a forever home! She has thrived in her temporary home here in the DC area. She lives with cats and is friendly with them. She's good with other dogs, and plays with them in dog parks. She's good on leash.   In the home, she is a Very Good Girl. Her temporary humans say she is free roam - she isn't crated. She loves her walkies, loves meeting people and pups alike, loves playing in the yard. Just an all around happy, loving girl.   Now here's the thing. Badem was rescued because those loving humans travel a lot due to their work. They cannot keep her - they're away too much. Sad as it makes them, they are now seeking Badem's forever home. One where she gets her own humans for long walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures her family can dream up. She wants nothing more than to know where she belongs, to be safe and loved. In exchange, she promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship for all her days.   What do you say? Is she the one you see by your side? Are you Badem's final, forever home?
