He will need an owner who is ready to invest time in his training and stay on top of his medical needs to ensure he continues to thrive. He's a bit of a clumsy fellow regularly tripping over his feet as he runs and plays with his toys, but his lack of coordination doesn't phase him one bit; he's just out to have fun! Due to his size and youthful energy, he tends to get a bit mouthy and jumpy when he's excited. For this reason he will need a home with no children, and he is not suited for apartment or condo living - he needs a house with the space to match his oversized body and personality.Chulo has been diagnosed with hip dysplasia and a heart murmur. We are looking for a committed adopter who is willing to follow up closely with their own veterinarian to manage his care and keep him comfortable.Chulo is a diamond in the rough who just needs the right structure, patience, and guidance to become the best dog he can be.
