  DOB 4/28/17, weight 8# Hey there, everyone! I’m Rocky, a sweet, friendly, and affectionate white-with-red-spots Chihuahua mix fella who soaks up Foster Mom’s attention when she pets me. Wouldn’t you know that cuddling in her lap is my favorite spot and where I require plenty of quality time? I’m very calm for a Chihuahua, and my favorite sport is sleeping! My former owners were deported and left me behind in their apartment complex. Neighbors fed me for a while until my HOPE foster mom stepped up to the plate and brought me to the safe haven of her home. I get along great with the small dogs and resident cats; however, children scare me. It would suit me just fine if I’m the only pet-child in my adoptive home. At first I’m a little skittish when someone new tries to pick me up, but with patience, I blossom and let my sweet spirit shine through.   My size makes me an ideal apartment dog, but I relish my daily exercise. Nothing makes me happier than for Foster Mom to invest her time and energy into treating me like a big dog. I make it easy for her because I already walk well on a leash. Plus I’m kennel-trained.
