Description

This dog is on our Call to Action list because he currently has limited handlers and is displaying defensive, fear-based behavior when approached by people. This has included growling and barking, but his primary response is avoiding the leash being put on.We have reached out to our volunteers to help build trust and create positive relationships with him. However, he needs to progress to a point where trained volunteers or staff can safely remove him from his kennel for routine care, enrichment, and socialization. Without that progress, his quality of life in the shelter environment will become a concern.
