Rios isn’t just looking for a place to stay — she’s looking for someone to belong to. After losing her owner, the person she adored, she’s been trying to make sense of a world that suddenly feels empty.This beautiful black Malinois/German Shepherd absolutely loves to engage, work and play. She is a very smart dog who wants to please and be close to her person. She has lots of drive and is playful and a very fun dog.And she has obedience down – knows all the basics, has fantastic recall, walks great on a loose leash and is off-leash trained with an e-collar. She holds her beloved blue ball in her mouth to keep it near her at all times, but tug is her joy and has a solid “out.”Rios is a well-behaved girl in the home. Her one challenge is the crate — she needs someone patient who can help her with positive, gentle crate training, with treats and praise to understand that happiness and joy can come from the crate.Rios’ lost the person she loved – who can help her find her new owner to love and adore?
