Nugget is now in a NJ foster home Meet Nugget  At about 6 years old and a perfect 35 pounds, Nugget is that just-right size—big enough for real snuggles, small enough to fit beautifully into just about any home. This sweet girl has a gentle, easygoing nature that makes you instantly feel at peace. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t ask for much—just a cozy spot, a kind hand, and someone to love. But don’t let her mellow vibe fool you… Nugget has the cutest playful side, especially when she gets excited and does her signature move—waving her little front paws like she’s saying “Pick me! Pick me!”  Nugget is: • Super friendly and affectionate • Quiet and well-mannered • Great on a leash (walks like a dream!) • Playful, but not over-the-top • Easygoing and happy just being by your side She’s got adorable shorter legs and a scruffy, wire-mix coat that gives her that perfectly imperfect, one-of-a-kind look. (Yes, she sheds a bit—but she makes up for it in every possible way.) Nugget is truly an all-around good girl—the kind of dog who will quietly steal your heart and make your home feel just a little softer, a little warmer, and a whole lot happier. If you’ve been looking for a loyal companion with a gentle soul (and the cutest paw wave you’ve ever seen), Nugget might just be your girl! Nugget is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Her adoption donation is $500. Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these animals have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
