NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 5/11/2026:  Georgina - female - approx 3 years old - 9.6 pounds - Dachshund/ Chihuahua mix Reason for intake:  Georgina came to us from animal control.   Someone saw her clipped by a car and took her to Valor and Valor connected her to animal control.  We were notified about her and took her in.  It appears her right rear femur is not connected to her hip.  She doesn't appear to be in any pain, though, which is odd.  It's almost as if it's an old injury.  Nevertheless, she is at our vet right now to figure out what's going on.  Stay tuned. NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS:  Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed.  Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining.   In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason.  We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption.  In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered.  Please note…  we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption.  Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.  We will post him or her on Facebook in our Adoptable Dog Album pinned to the top of our page which you can follow at this link:  https://www.facebook.com/share/1B46skRWF5/ OR you can keep checking our website at www.roadtorescuela.org.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
