Foster location: Appleton  Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Bio: Back in February, our Louisiana partners were alerted of a small family of dogs living in the root system of a downed tree.  This rural area offered nothing for them, till a lady started driving over an hour round trip, to atleast give them food. Then realizing these pups needed more, she reached out for help. After a few days of efforts, some hacksaws, crawling deep into the roots, all four puppies were safely removed from its maze.  That brings us here and now to Twiggy. She was feeling braver than her two remaining siblings, and made the trip to join OPARI. Yes, she's skittish, unsure, confused.  But thats 100% normal. What amazed her foster home, was her eagerness to seak affection, quickly turning into a shy shadow, hiding under any chair I sit at. Falling asleep on the steps because I went upstairs.  A home ready to help her embrace the fun side of life, with another dog, and patience for training will be a great start for Twiggy and we new path in life.
