Description

Bryce is a loving, people-oriented pup whose favorite thing in the world is simply being with his humans. He came to the shelter due to changes in his family's circumstances, and adjusting to shelter life was difficult for him because he thrives on companionship and being part of the family. This handsome boy is fully housetrained, slept through the night, and rode beautifully in the car while in foster care. His foster described him as a true `love bug` who always wanted to be included in whatever his people were doing, whether that meant supervising grocery unpacking, joining an adventure, or curling up for snuggles. Belly rubs before bed and first thing in the morning were among his favorite things! Bryce's dream day includes a long hike or car ride followed by a well-earned nap in a sunny spot. In the yard, you'll often find him racing around in joyful zoomies, rolling in the grass, and soaking up the sunshine. During his foster stay, Bryce did wonderfully with his canine companion. The dogs shared space comfortably, slept together, and enjoyed occasional play sessions. He was also friendly with neighborhood children, and his previous family reported that he had lived successfully with children and cats. Like many enthusiastic dogs, Bryce could become excited when he spotted other dogs or wildlife on walks and might pull or bark. Bryce would likely do best with an adopter who enjoys active outings and can continue helping him build good leash manners. Bryce's foster compared him to a child's teddy bear because of the comfort, affection, and unconditional love he gave.
