Description

Meet Bear a loyal, incredibly handsome Wheaten Terrier mix who is a true "unicorn" boy still waiting for his perfect match. As of today, Bear has spent exactly 1,007 days in rescue. He has grown, learned, and bonded deeply with his people over the last few years, and now he desperately needs the right home to make every single day of that wait worth it. If you are looking for an fiercely loyal shadow who just wants to be near you, Bear is your guy. The Facts on Bear:  Age & Size: Just under 6 years old and a sturdy 65 lbs.  Yard Requirement: Needs a home with a secure, physically fenced yard (he is not suited for a leash-walk-only lifestyle).  Pet Status: Looking for a strictly cat-free home.  Daily Routine: He would do absolute best with an adopter who works from home or is around most of the time, as he deals with separation anxiety. Bears forever home is out there, but because his perfect setup is specific, he needs our village to network him harder than ever before. 1,007 days is far too long for a boy this devoted to be waiting. Let's change his life today. All of our animals receive comprehensive veterinary care prior to adoption, including a full exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, spay or neuter, heartworm testing, and any necessary medical treatment.   A vet reference, home and/or family visit, and an adoption fee are required.   Transport options are available within our operating region, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. We do not adopt animals to Canada.    For more information or to submit an application, please visit pmarinc.org.
