Questions about Buzz and/or our adoption policy should be sent to socorescue8@gmail.com; please do not call the Rescue's number.*** Buzz and his brother, Woody, were found as strays in the Dublin, GA area in Sept of 2025. After  going through their "stray hold" period and not being reclaimed by their owner, the two were brought to SoCo Rescue in hopes of finding them new homes. Both boys were very thin, scared and found to also be heartworm positive. Since coming to SoCo Rescue, both Woody and Buzz have regained their health and have recently completed HW treatment for heartworms.  Buzz is an incredible little fellow who simply wants to be loved. Possessing a submissive personality, but not timid, he loves to cuddle up on your lap and simply soak in all of the love and affection that you want to give. He gets along great with other dogs. He'll do good in a home with older, calmer children or as a companion to a senior/retired person who is looking for a best friend. Buzz has received an update on all of his annual vaccinations, de-wormings and kept up to date on all of his monthly preventatives. He's also been neutered and has received a clean bill of health from our veterinarian. Buzz will need additional house training once in a new home.
