Description

Sweet Sissy is now in a NJ foster home and is available for adoption. What a difference a week can make! Sweet Sissy arrived in NJ very timid, spending her first few days tucked safely in her crate. But once she realized she was safe, her personality began to shine—and now she’s a silly, sweet, incredibly affectionate girl who loves being close to her people. Sissy is housebroken, sleeps through the night, takes treats gently, and has shown zero resource guarding. She loves curling up at her person’s feet for scratches (especially behind her left ear!), playing with squeaky or crinkly toys, and spending time with her dog friends. She’s even discovered the joy of backyard zoomies! Her missing leg doesn’t slow her down one bit. Sissy would do best with another confident, friendly dog to help her continue building confidence. A yard would also be a wonderful bonus. Because she can still be nervous around sudden loud noises and unpredictable movements, older, respectful children would be best. Sissy is a gentle, loving girl who has come so far in just one week. With a patient home, a confident canine companion, and plenty of love, she’s sure to continue blossoming into an amazing companion. Sissy is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $500.   Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
