Meet Gizmo, a handsome three-year-old Lab/German Shepherd/Australian Shepherd blend who is currently looking for a patient heart to call his own. Gizmo recently came into our care after his previous owners were no longer able to care for him, and because he’s been through so much transition in such a short window, he is feeling a bit overwhelmed. He is a sensitive soul who is still navigating his new surroundings and getting to know his caretakers. Right now, we are giving him all the space, reassurance, and time he needs to understand that he is safe - so we are looking for a forever family willing to do the same for him. While he may be timid at first, his previous family shared that Gizmo is a loving companion who genuinely thrives when he is with his people. He is an active boy who loves the fresh air and would be happiest in a home with plenty of space to run and explore. His previous owners also noted that he has successfully gotten along with other dogs, cats, and children in the past. This suggests that once he feels secure in his environment, his social and affectionate nature will truly shine through. Gizmoe is fully up to date on all his vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered.
